LDS Information
The Rosetta Stone is now located in the British Museum. It was originally founded in Egypt by Emperor Napoleon after the great library had been rebuilt in Cairo. He found it when clearing out sand below the old burnt-out Library, found it beneath the foundation, cleared the sand, and put the Stele in the French ship.
The British showed up with a large gallian with many cannons ready to fire on the French ship and boarded it, and took the Rosetta Stone to the British Museum.

The Drama of the Last Disciples (book)
The Drama of the Last Disciples is primarily about the historical people and events after Christs' Crucification by George F. Howlett. This book reminds us very forcibly that in those early days when Rome was still pagan, men braved the fury of the elements and the peril of the sword to journey to the Britannic Isles in order to proclaim the Gospel of love, light and liberty, and then as Heralds of the Cross to bear it from Glastonbury and Iona, Bangor and Lindisfarne, to the far places of the earth, for Britain, not Rome, was then the Lighthouse of Europe.
Wilford Woodruff - 2nd Wave of Missionaries
Wilford Woodruff was one of the missionaries in the 2nd group sent to England in the mid and late 1800s.
The Proclamation of 1845
The early draft introduction of this Proclamation produced during the Prophet Joseph Smith’s lifetime began by quoting Isaiah 49:22-23. Although Elder Pratt never references these verses directly in the 1845 Proclamation, he captured the spirit of these verses in the most prominent theme of the document: that the “Gentile” rulers of the earth are to submit themselves to the fullness of the Restored Gospel, unite themselves and all their political, cultural, and temporal resources to the cause of Zion, and prepare for the great day of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth. A prophetic tone permeates the Proclamation, as Elder Pratt regales his readers with many portentous signs and miracles that either have already been fulfilled with the inauguration of the Restored Kingdom of God to the earth, or certainly will be as the work continues to roll forward. He presents strong millenarian themes designed to persuade the rulers of the countries of the world to unite their kingdoms with the coming Kingdom of Christ, or face their ultimate demise. The future of the Native Americans as a remnant of the seed of Joseph rising in glory to build the New Jerusalem figures prominently throughout the Proclamation.14 Ultimately, this Proclamation is an impassioned plea and inspired invitation from a persecuted and beleaguered, but faith-filled, people for aid, comfort, and camaraderie in a work that they may be coming to recognize is too vast for them to accomplish alone.
The Proclamation of the Saints in the Nations Scattered Abroad
This Proclamation addresses several important themes for Latter-day Saints. While rumors circulated that Latter-day Saints were not good citizens and held religious, social, and economic views that were antithetical to republican democracy, this Proclamation reasserts the attitude and desire of the Church and its leaders to be good citizens and obey the laws of the land. Although the First Presidency openly expresses disappointment in the behavior of government officials in Missouri, this Proclamation lauds the government of Illinois as embodying the principles that guarantee the rights of all citizens according to the United States Constitution.7 To reciprocate this goodwill, the First Presidency speaks of the newly chartered Nauvoo Legion as a means “to show our attachment to the state and nation, as a people, whenever the public service requires our aid” (Times and Seasons, January 15, 1841, p. 274).

Alcoholics Anonymous
1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol — that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

The gospel will go forth in all the world before He comes in the 2nd coming as prophesied by Danial.
Why Prophets?
In England, many pastors were preaching about a church with a Prophet and Apostles. When Wilford Woodruff encountered these preachers with their congregations looking for a church with a Prophet and Apostles, he explained that Joseph Smith was a prophet and sent him to teach them.
